This is the first piece I created for #projectrawandimperfect where I challenge my obsessive compulsive perfectionism by leaving my painting unfinished on purpose. In confronting my obsession with "creating something “perfect,” my art practice has become a form of mental health therapy gradually exposing me to my fears–like making mistakes or not being “good enough”–and learning healthy ways to cope with my anxiety.
